  • Lead counsel in a FINRA enforcement action in Disciplinary Proceeding No. 2012030731802; Department of Enforcement v. William H. Murphy & Co., Inc. and William H. Murphy, involving public solicitation violations of Rule 506(b). Litigated an enforcement ruling to the 5th Circuit which was remanded back to FINRA requiring FINRA to reduce the sanction in accordance with SEC and FINRA guidelines.
