OZEMPIC®, WEGOVY®, and RYBELSUS® are commonly prescribed for Type 2 diabetes and weight loss. Gastroparesis (paralysis of the stomach) resulting in hospitalization.
Gastroparesis is a condition in which the muscles of the stomach become paralyzed. This causes food to remain in the stomach for longer. Symptoms of gastroparesis include bloating, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, and experiencing unusual fullness after eating. Gastroparesis can lead to malnutrition and severe illness.

Ileus. Ileus is the inability of the intestine (bowel) to contract normally and move waste out of the body. Symptoms include abdominal cramps, bloating, nausea, vomiting, constipation, difficulty passing gas, and difficulty tolerating a normal diet.

Pancreatitis. It is an inflammation of the Pancreas with symptoms including upper abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting.

Blocked intestine (bowel obstruction) requiring hospitalization

Pulmonary aspiration while under anesthesia or during surgery
