SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE
As a senior paralegal and staff director, Licea Sims has responsibilities to both the clients and the firm. She is experienced in drafting a multitude of legal documents, research, document organization, scheduling, and general case management. She also assists the attorneys in preparing for trials, depositions, and mediations. Ms. Sims also speaks to clients regarding their cases to answer any questions the client might have. She also assists the clients in setting appointments and making sure they are aware of any upcoming meetings and appointments.
As staff director, Ms. Sims is responsible for keeping the firm’s docket and generally oversees the firm’s schedule. She is also responsible for case assignments among the staff and makes sure the firm runs consistently and smoothly.
